First Month Full Time RV Life

Our first month!  Now living in a rv isn't the usually "Normal Lifestyle". Telling friends and family about our choice to move into a rv was interesting.  Received plenty of "Are you Crazy Looks".  It was a choice we wanted to experience for our family.  The whole family was excited to go on the adventure.

So we moved into our rv in December right before our baby Noelle came.  It took a awhile to get used to living from a 3,800 square foot house to a 300 square foot house lol.  I had my moment, OMG what are we doing but once we got the hang of things it went better.  Now organization is the key!  Everything has a spot.  You learn to be creative!  I have realized how much stuff a person really doesn't need.  It's so nice not dealing with the clutter and junk that builds up.  You would be shocked how much money you would be saving.  Using money not on things but experiences.

The best part it only takes me 10 mins to clean my home lol.  You have extra time for the family.  Just in a month we as a family have grown so close.  Of course we learn to also have some time apart so we don't kill each other. The only stressful moments I have is coming back from the grocery store, bring in all our purchases into the rv and seeing all the stuff I need to put away.  Once you put everything away I'm back to stress free. :)

We had our first Christmas in our new home.  It was snowing on Christmas Day.  Our new baby Noelle was home. Christmas was so different, was nice to spending a ton of money on gifts and we just enjoy each others company.  Time together is what really matters.

As a newbie rv full timer we learn something new each day.  We moved into our rv in the winter so there was plenty to learn.  We made our rv skirt.  We had super cold weather one week.  One day it was -17!!  Our water froze.  We learned to add a heat lamp under rv and heat tape too.  No more issues anymore.  To save money we only use our electric heaters in our rv which we really haven't had any issues keeping warm.  With the black out heavy duty blinds and curtains, we keep heat in really well.  So it's been super comfortable.  Another fun experience, sewer back up lol.  Took a day but we figured how to fix that.  Really the first 2 weeks were crazy just learning how to do everything.  Since then everything is going well.

Our rv park is wonderful.  There is a club house I take the kids to work on school or just hang out if we wanted to get some more room.  Our shower is super tiny so we just use the nice park's showers.  Everyone has been super nice.  Turns out there are other families too that are full time rvers!  Our next door neighbors are great, kids have play dates.  In this learning experience all our neighbors have been so helpful with any questions we might have. I'm actually shocked how quiet it is here! So glad we picked this park to be our first experience in this life style.

In summary we actually love our new life.  You have to be open minded to this life style.  Minimalism is the way to go!  Our family has never been so stress free before.  Best decision we have ever made.

Bellow are some random photos of our first month!
